AUCKLAND TROTTING MEETING IMPRINT'S WIN The race for the Prince of Wales Handicap (1000 sovs.) at the Auckland meeting, which was won by Mr T. B. Cardinal Logan and Imprint both began slowly, All Bell taking up the running, and he led past the stand the first time from Talaro, Doctor Dillon, Dillon Wilkes, and Cardinal Logan. The orcler was the same along the back, where Goldman broke up and interfered with Prince Pointer. When they reached the stand again All Bell and Talaro were together, a length in front of Dillon Wilkes, with Cardinal Logan and Doctor Dillon next, and Imprint following. Talaro and All Bell were just showing the way to a hunch running along the. back, and as they raced along the top there was less than two lengths between All Bell, Talaro, Dillon Wilkes, Cardinal Logan and Imprint, the latter being on the outside. It was a great, race, and half a dozen swung- into the straight in a bunch. In the run to the pidgc Imprint finished best and won by half a length from Cardinal Logan, with Dillon Wilkes a neck away, a head in front of Talaro.
