Tins Hospital Board . was advised today by lhiTPublic Trustee that it is. the les'iduary legatee in tho estate of the late Mr James Kirby, formerly a Palmerston North resilient, who died in Wellington in March. The assets in the estate, which is the subject of the widow's life interest, exceed £SOOO. TJie other bequest* include £IOOO to the Jubilee Institute for tho blind, Auckland, £IOOO to the Baptist Church oi plumage at Manurewa, and £SOO eaoli to tiie Methodist orphanages at Christchurch and Auckland. Tho amount coming Io the Hospital Board is estimated at between £2500 and £3OOO.
