ART IN NEW ZEALAND
SERIES OF EXHIBITIONS Activity in the art world Tir New Zealand is growing stronger every year. The Canterbury Society of Arts is now holding its annual art exhibition and artists are showing some of the best work they have yet done, In other places exhibitions are shortly to he held. Tlie National Art Association series of exhibitions for 1926 will begin with one at Nelson, now being arranged by the Suter Art Society to open in the Suter Art Gallery on Monday, the 12th of April. Nelson is fortunate in being first on the list and lovers of art will have an opportunity of securing sketches by the artists they admire most,. Blenheim follow.s Nelson, and from there the sketches go forward to other parts of New Zealand.
