FOUND DEAD
A VISITOR FROM MELBOURNE (United Press Afloociatiou.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The inquest has begun on Edgar Clarke, described as an auctioneer, and a councillor of St. Kilda, Melbourne, who was found on the river bank on Saturday with his wrist, deeply cut. Deceased arrived in Christehurch on March 26 and remained in bed at his hotel tor four days on account of illness. One witness described him as "a bundle of nerves," but he collapsed before an operation could be performed. The inquest was adjourned sine die.
