NELSON PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP The Nelson provincial championship golf tournament eonnneneed on the Pa - Imnamii links tn-dav. To-day the qualifying round for the championship is being played simultaneously with a stroke competition over 36 holes. There are over 70 entries, including representatives of several North Island, West Coast and Marlborough Hubs. The tournament will he continued on Monday. Yesterday unofficial matches were played. A bogey competition in the morn ing was we,,i by Evans (llutt) 3 down; and a four-hall bogey in the afternoon was won by Beimel I and Chesney (Marlborough) i up.
