ASHBURTON BURGLARIES
A PRIVATE HOTEL ENTERED (United Press Association.) ASHBURTON, This Day Burglars who entered a private hotel early yesterday morning robbed two visiting Riciarton cricketers. Messrs Roberts! n and Gurnsoy, of bank notes totalling £ls left in a wallet in a coat hanging in the bedroom. The otliee of the proprietor of the hotel was entered through a window hut the thieves were apparently disturbed as the desk was not dint lulled. This is the second ease of burglary. ns on Wednesday night the manager's office at the pictttre theatre was entered but the thieves were disappointed, the day’s takings having been removed.
