THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL
OFFICIAL VISIT TO NELSON ORIGINAL DATE M.\V BE ALTERED It was mentioned at the City Council meeting last evening till at- there is some doubt as to whether his Excellency the Governor-General will pay his promised official visit to Nelson at the end of the month. It was stated definitely that Bitten and Blenheim would not he visited, and that probably the GovernorGeneral would arrive in Nelson direct from Wellington un Saturday morning, Ist August, instead of as previously arranged in Die evening. It is expected that definite information as lc his Excellency's intentions will he available within the next few elavs.
