STRIKING MINERS

Five thousand strikers surrounded Rock Colliery, Glynneath, Glamorgan, where 700 men were still working and refused to disperse. Police were summoned and in a collision with strikers sixteen were injured. '1 he miners even tuully decided to ooa.se work, and the colliery has been brought to a standstill.
