MORE HOPEFUL ASPECT
BUT SITUATION VERY DELICATE MELBOURNE, Tins Day. A more hopeful aspect in the shipping trouble has developed by the announcement bv Mr E. Holloway, secretary of the disputes committee to the Trades Hall council that a settlement could be expected by the end of the week. The committee had had several consultations with the ship owners. The position at present was very delicate and he could not enlarge on it.
