DUNEDIN WATERSIDE TROUBLE
KAWATIRI STILL UNWORKED
NO CALL FOR OTHER UNION COMPANY VESSELS

DUNEDIN, This Day. There is still no response to the call for labour for the Kawatiri, which lias now been here six days with a part cargo of Newcastle coal. The Union Company manager states he has no intention of making calls for other ships until the Kawatiri is worked. A vessel was worked at the Bluff at ordinary rates.
As a result of the company's decision, no call was made to work the Wanaka, which arrived yesterday from Auckland.'
