DANNEVIRKE. This Day
A writ lias been filed in the Supremo Court at. Wellington by E. Gibbards, solicitor, of Dannovirke, acting on behalf of Alice Maud Ward, against the publishers and managing editor of New Zealand Truth, Wellington, claiming £IO,OOO damages for alleged libel in respect of an article which appeared on February 2nd, 1924, reporting an action in the Dannevirko Magistrate’s Court in which plaintiff was one of the litigants. The case is expected to be beard at ttie coming session of the Supreme Court in Wellington.
