FUSION NEGOTIATIONS
STILL PROCEEDING BETWEEN LEADERS WEEK END .MEETING (Unicoi* Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. Political fusion is still simmering. There have been several meetings between Hie Leaders during the week-end, but the negotiations have not yet reached finality. Unless the unforeseen happens, the Liberal Parlv will meet in caucus to-nigliL and it is confidently anticipated that I his Week will see matters settled one way or the other: but. no official aniiounet-men is likely to be. made as to whether fusion is on or otf until it can be done on the floor of the House.
