The Government steamer Ilinemoa, running under the auspices of the Cook Island Administration, returned to Auckland yesterday morning - , after making a voyage to Norfolk Island. The vessel was absent nine days. The passenger list totalled 18 both ways. Five passengers from Auckland remained at the Island, and a similar number joined the vessel for the return journey. Other passengers made the round voyage for business reasons or to visit friends. The Ilinemoa was at the Island nearly three days. A small quantity of cargo was taken from Auckland. The return cargo consisted of 2000 cases of oranges and kumaras, and a few fowls and turkeys. The Ilinemoa leaves for Niue to-night.
