Now that arrangements for the Good sell-llanan race lias been completed both men have resumed steady training
The articles signed by Hannan and fioodsoll for a race on 27th, provide that Hannan's second instalment of £3OO be paid by the 15th. and the filial £IOO a week before the race. William Reach will be umpire, and J. W. Scott will be fudge. Hannan stales that £3OO and expenses from Auckland supporters is expected any day. He is in {Tie best of condition and likes the course better than any in New Zealand, but his trainer says that he would like another fortnight to prepare him for such an important race. Hannan expects to have his boat- from Tnurnnga twelve days before the race.
