In June last Mr G. Hobson, of Ri■waka, imported from the North Island 15 stud Corricdale ewes and a stud ram, w Il'ich he secured at the disposal salexof Messrs T. Haycock and Sons, Carterton. most Corriedales in the Dominion, the ' foundation being from two of the best and most noted flocks, i.e., Mr Greenwood, Canterbury, and Mr Ensor, Canterbury. Blood afterwards was introduced from the flocks of Mr Stringfellow, Canterbury; and Mr White, Canterbury. The top price at the above sale was 105 guineas for a ram and 70 guineas for a ewe.
