NELSON’S SUNSHINE
AN UNRIVALLED ASSET
Nelsonians, with good reason, are generally able to console themselves during periods of bad weather with, the fact that if it is bad here, it is worse elsewhere. In addition it frequently happens, as was the case last week, that while storms are raging ill Wellington, Nelson is basking in sunshine.
This fact was referred to l>y Mr W. Deo at the last meeting of the Nelson Chamber of Commerce and the President. (Mr J. Allan Mitchell) promised to bring the matter of making Nelson’s sunshine and good weather more widely known before a meeting of the Progress League, This lie did at yesterday afternoon’s meeting of the League, and it was decided fo make further representations, through the members lor the district, to secure the inclusion of Nelson in the daily weather observations. The secretary was also instructed to go into the matter of making Nelson’s weather more widely known throughout the Dominion.
