But when she learns of his insincerity she disappears. Ashe, realising the wrong he has done, leaves for England. On a hunting trip lie finds a wonderful old goblet which lie brings back to America with him. It is stolen. It finds its way to Bessie in a lowly tenement. With it comes a strange story, real adventure and stirring romance In a dramatic trial a hand reaches out and before the eyes of the judge it is again carried off.
