- In the ring at Blackfriars in a fifteen round catch weights bout, Vandervecr, heavyweight champion of Holland, beat Albert Lloyd, the referee intervening in Ihe ninth round. LONDON, Nov. 20. Lloyd put up a game scientific light against a. sixteen-stone opponent, who had a. great advantage in height and reach. Lloyd led on points until the eighth round, when lie was twice floored by right swings and once knocked out of the ring altogether. In the ninth round he was floored thrice in quick succession.
