The Maitland miners rejected the coal agreement, but Cessnook and Kuril miners both accepted. The police state that a trunk discovered throws no light on the Coogee mystery. The police are still searching for a trunk with the body, or the carters who removed it from Coogee. SYDNEY, This Day

’ Influenza is raging at Glciiinnes, where the nurses have been worked to a standstill and relief work is falling chiefly on probationers. Four meetings at the Maitland fields decided to accept the coal terms. The Cessnook meeting exceeded three thousand and there were only thirty dissentients.
