The death occurred at the Wellington Hospital on Saturday last of Mrs George Park( Katie.) of Seatoun. _ The deceased formerly resided in Kawai Street, Nel•fjoii and was a sister of the late Mr Henry Bin-rough, who passed away at Bishopdale a feW days ago.

The death of Air William Hampton occurred at Tahunanui Saturday, at the ripe age of 91 years. Air Hampton was for 40 years at Charleston, and was verv well known on the Coast. His eldest son died six weeks ago. Deceased was the father of Airs George MeConehie, of Tahuna.

Airey (Nelson), who has Jieen re-appointed in charge of Urn Eastern Extension Company s Ilong Kong station, has arrived in England on furlough, accompanied by Mrs Airey. They left their ship at Genoa and travelled hv easy stages to England, through France.’ Part of Mr Airey’s furlough is to be spent- in New Zealand and their passages have been booked by the Roto, run. When tho travellers leave New Zealand for Hong Kong they will bo accompanied by Miss Jean Airey who is now in Nelson.”

The death occurred in Wellington last Monday of Mrs Carmine, wife of Mr L. T. Carmine, formerly well-known in the Telegraph Department in Nelson. The deceased ladv had endeared herself to a large circle of friends, in Nelson, Blenheim, and elsewhere. She had been in failing health for some time.
