Leonard Stanley Kcmpthorno as Bishop in Polynesia, says the Morning Post of •sth March last. The ceremony w.as performed by l the Archbishops of Canterbury, and" the Bishop-designate was presented by the Bishop of Salisbury and the Bishop of Lichfield. Bishop King, Secretary of the S.P.G., and Bishop Twitchcll, the first Bishop in Polynesia, who is succeeded by the new Bishop, took part in the service.
