PROVINCIAL APPLE SHOW
ENTRIES CLOSE TO-MORROW Entries for the Provincial Apple Show close to-mprrowi Those'bearing Saturday's postmark will be accepted. Already good entries have come to hand, especially from the Waimea side of the Moutere Hills, Stoke growers especially making a fine response. Other districts, as Riwaka,. MotueKa, Moutere and Tasman are represented, but to nothing like the extent hoped for. With the extension of time granted for making entries, additional, grower's in these districts may yet feel disposed to assist with exhibits. '.., * The Committee will hold a working bee at the Drill Hall on Monday evening. .':■".■:<■ ■■..'"' '. .' Exhibits will be received at the Drill Hall oh Tuesday. • All exhibits are to, be, staged., by 11 o'clock on Wednesday morning, .except, the spectacular displays, which naustbo completed by Thursday morning; by 11 o'clock. , ' In the apple pie competition the ex r hibits are to be staged by 10 o'clock on Saturday morning, the final day of the show.. ,:-": x ~ ■ As in previous years an invitation will be extended to pupils 6f all schools and the Colleges to attend the show. \
