DUNEDIN, April 19
It is staled that the Yale University auhorities have renewed their offer to send a refracting telescope, and send and maintain astronomers to do stellar work. A certain amount of sky-testing has been done in Otago Central at the sites suggested for the instrument. The Government is to he, asked to give a small sum to complete the sky-testing.
