POLITICAL SITUATION
PARTIES MARKING TIME
(From our Parliamentary Correspondent) WELLINGTON, This Day. The political parties are marking time and the leaders are refusing to say anything for publication. The Prime Minister frankly stales that it is no good seeing him until after the • New Year. Meanwhile, however ,quite a number of members have been in town, many Liberals and semi-Independents among (them. Two reasons are given for this. .The first is that they are anxious to ascertain to what they will commit themselves if they vote with Mr Massey, and the second that they are curious as to the names in the Cabinet Mr Wib I ford is said lo have drawn up in'case 1 of need. , ■ • • ■
