PLUNKET SOCIETY MEETING
At the monthly meeting of the Afotueka branch of the Plunket Society' held on Friday seven members were present, four apologies being received from those unable to attend. The Plunket nurse reported that the room had been fairly well attended during I lie past month. Orinoco was visited on November Bth, but the weather was very wet and stormy and subsequently (hero was not a large attendance at tlie room there. However, she was able to telephone most of the mothers and the babies were all getting on very well. With the exception of colds (here had been very 7 little sickness anywhere, and all the babies were progressing favourably. With regard to I lie Aiothcrs’ Help ’Division the .secretary reported that there had been no reply to* the committee's advertisement for a temporary Mothers’ Help. One call, an urgent case, sickness of the mother of tuning children, had come in, but owing In lack of help bad had to hj refused.
