OPENING OF TENNIS COUKTS , TO-MORROW
The opening of the Victory lemnfj Club, postponed from last Saturday, wul take place to-morrow afternoon. The courts will be opened by the Mayor (Mr W. Lock)- and a cordial invitation is extended to the public to be present. Residents in the vicinity of the Squaro are making good use of this recreation ground, showing their appreciation of the improvements effected by the Council. Every fine evening there is a large gathering of cricketers and tennis players. The ground is meeting a long-iel t want in providing for various forms of recreation in this part of the. city.
