THE CHATHAM CASES
(United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, October 12. Dr Hughes, medical health officer, states that of fifteen cases of sickness on the warship Chatham since Ist October, live are progressing towards convalescence, seven are convalescent and practically well, and three have completely recovered. There are no, further cases." The Chatham went to the quarantine anchorage this morning. All men not required to work the ship have been landed on Motuihi Island. Dr Hughes states that during the present month three cases of pneumonic influenza have occurred in the city and one in the country.
