CONSTABLES FIRED AT
WHILE SERVING A WARRAN I CHARGE OF .ATTEMPTED MURDER LAID (United Ureas Association) WELLINGTON, I’l.’s Day. While two constables were ; bout to serve a warrant upon a Pelonc resident, Benjamin Jones, he attacked them with a revolver. He fired four shots eat (.-'d missed ,ancl was about to fire again with the revolver close to one constable’s body, when the other * -p-Uhle knocked it aside. He was mwe; tui mi a charge of attempted murder.
