In the Assembly General Smuts an, nounced the judicial ■ committee to inquire into the causes of the revolutionary movement on the Rand; administration of martial law,; behaviour of natives during the troubles; and whether the assaults upon th|xn were provoked. The Commission will consist of Justices, Sir Thomas Graham, and Sir John Lange.
