SCHOOL CHILDREN

NO i?KEE MEDICAL TREATMENT

(United Press Association)

v WELLINGTON, This Day ; In 'a communication to the School Committees Asociation the Alinister for Education says he greatly regrets that at the present time it is quite impossible for) the Education Department to undertake the free medical treatment of school'’treatment. The utmost that can be done is to advise parents as to what medical Treatment is necessary. With regard to medical expenses, incurred owing to acidents in-school grounds it is unreasonable for parents to expect these to - be remitted unless the accident was due to neglect, on the part of the education authorities. The Alinister hopes next year to add thirty women dentists, now being specially trained to the school dental corns.
