PIPIROA MURDER CASE

TIUiMES, This Day. , concluded this morning connection with preliminary charges against Arthur William Page, for the alleged murder of Mrs Gladys M. Hut- „ cbison, at Pipiroa, on 7th Eebruary. Accused was committed to stand his trial at Auckland on a charge of wil- * fut Xtyurdor, The evidence disclosed fact that accused made a voluntary statement to the police admitting the fcrirno and saying he alone was responsible. At Hie inquest in connection with the death of deceased wojnan a verdict was returned by Mr J H. Salmon, S.M., Coroner, that Mrs Hutchison met her death in accordance with medical evidence as ft result of gunshot wounds indicted by Page earlier in the day.
