CURE FOR BILHARZIOSIS

LONDON, March 17. A medical expert states that Christopherson's antimony treatment oi Bilharziosis has proved a complete cure. This is a tremendous achievement ,as it defeats the ancient plague of Egypt. (Bilharziosis {named after the discoverer of the cause, Bilharz) is a disease endemic in various parts ot Africa, due to the presence of a "trematode" parasite. The disease chiefly affects the urinary system. The mode of infection is disputed, but it is usually attributed to bathing iu or drinking water containing the parasites. The severity of the disease vanes greatly; whereas some patients suiter little, other cases are fatal).
