Cable Association) LONDON, June 11 It is authoritatively stated that Mt "Watt suspended the wool negotiations a fortnight ago, when the rupture with Air Hughes began to develop. At that .time the negotiations had reached the following stage; The British Government had definitely refused Mr Hughes’s request to suspend the London sales for. six months. The Government was prepared to pay Mr Watt £10,000,000 immediately as the first instalment of profits. The Government will shortly publish a report and balance sheet of sales to 31st March, 1919.
