THE TERRITORIALS

WELLINGTON, This Day.
It is officially notified that the posting [of officers from the Expeditionary Force to the Territorials is suspended. Officers of the Toritol’ial Force holding a tegher status in the Expeditionary Force, who, after 25th March, 1919,. are struck ;off the strength, later will be temporarily posted to the reserve list, in which they will retain the rank acquired on active [service. This will b© regarded as a “suspense” list, from which officer® will :if ter wards be posted to—(a) Active List Territorial; (b) Reserve Officers; (c); Retired List. Those considered unsuitable for Territorial sendee, on desiring to terminate their commissions, will be retired or otherwise disposed of. It is intended to accommodate from the Expeditionary Force in the Territorial Force with the ranks gained on active service in so far as the interests of 'the Service will permit, but a [general allotment will not be possible till demobilisation has further progressed.
