At the suggestion of the New Zealand Coalmine Owners’ Association, the pro prietor© of tho Green Island collieries have agreed to meet the miners in Conference. Tho miners have stood out for a conference all- through the trouble. The conference will probably be held on Tuesday!

Sir James Alien stated reyuding the list of defaulters to be deprived 1 of civil tights that* those dbeewd as genuine religious would not be on the Hst. No decision had been come to with regard to when men not on tho list would be. released from gaol.
