BRITISH WAR BONDS.
NEW ISSUES FORESHADOWED. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association) LONDON, Jan. 21. The Press Bureau states that the Treasury will notify after February Ist that subscriptions will be receivable for a new series of National War Bonds at 5 per cent, at five and ten years, cub*' ject to income tax; or 4 per cent bonds at ten years with the tax compounded.. The first-named series will be issuable at par and redeemable at a premium. The last-named series will be issuable at 101 £ and redeemable at par.
