SINKING OF THE LAKE ERIE

(Rec. Jan. 22, 9 a.m.) LONDON* Jan. 18. It is report^ 1 that the sinking of the American freighter Lake Eerie in the Bristol Channel is unconfirmed. There was a collision ' with the Hazel Branch. The latter was practically uninjured.
