WAKEFIELD FEATHERS. On the Maitai Green last evening the holders of the Wakefield Feathers successfully defended Their possession against an attack by another rink of Maitai players. The challengers were Vitetta, Dodds, Allen, Hockey (s) who scored 13, against 21 points to Tie credit of the holders—Sievwright, Logan, W. Dee, Glover (s). A rink from the Nelson club, skipped by A. E. Cresswell, has callengei for the Feathers, and The match will be played on tho Mai ai green on Friday evening. The winner of this match will be called upon to defend The Feathers against a Wakefield rink from which a challenge has been received.
