CHRrISTCHUiRCH, Oct. 12. B. Larisdown and J. Patterson, two jockeys, whilst training_horses at Riccarton to-day, were both thrown to tht* ground and seriously injured. They were taken; to . the Hospital. Lansdowh is still unconscious and Patterson, is semi-conscious.
David Clyde, a railway employee, residing at • Stanley-street, 1 Sydenham, was found dead hanging by the neck to a bedpost in his house, to-day. He had been complaining of bad health, and yesterday lie stated that unless his condition improved it would drive him out of his mind. .• ;
