The president, addressing the Farmers' and Settlers' Conference, said the primary industries were faced with enormous difficulties. The position into which they were drifting "must- be felt by every member of the community. The wheat area of Jvew South Wales had decreased by at least 33 per cent., and practically there was not enough fat meat supply for local requirements.
