(Mr Williams states that on the day nominations closed ho went to the. letter box at about 4.30 p.m. to see if bv any chance further nominations had come to hand, and no advice of a tered letter was then in the box. Had he to rely on delivery by postmen the nomination could not have reached the office before the time of closing ot nominations ; in fact, it would not have reached him till the following morning. The matter lias been referred to the Board's solicitor.)
