NELSON RUGBY UNTON. Ai meeting of the Nelson Rugby "Union was held on Tuesday evening, Mt R. W. Stiles (preavdenit) in the chair. Correspondence was received from the New Zealand Rugby Union respecting communication.? from the English Union in regard to profep'iona.!isTn.—7 It was resolved that the correspondence be placed before the various local clubs and a reply formulated plater. The Marlborough Union wrote stating that a representative team will probably be .s-ent to Nelson* this seaeon. The Flat- Creek Football Club communicated in regard to affiliation with Nelson Union, and it was resolved that a' favourable reply be sent. L : It was resolved to invite outside unions to take part in the seven-a-&id<?> tournament on the first Monday i!r>' August, and that entries for sanie close on the 16th insfc. Following are the fixtures for next Saturday:— Senior: College v. Wakatu. Junior: College v. Waimea, at Richmond. Third Class; Rival v. Wakatu, (Park, 2 p.nv. ; College A v. College B, Park. 2 p.m. •The " following will r present Wakatu Third Class against.Rivals on Saturday at the Park at 2 p.m. :—Swafford, Peters, W<ard, Holdaway, Wells. Coleman, Strintf?r. Eades, Simpson, Elliott, Wells, Pauline, Silke, Canniiigton, and Miller.
