SHIPPING FOR BUTTER.

."It ha s been reported to me that' a message has been received by the -iNRa-, tional Dairy Association to the effect that all the" butter available in the Dominion for export (185,000 boxes) will be lifted, leaving sufficient for home consumption," said the Hon, D. H. Guthrie, Minister in charge of Shipping and Imperial Supplies. "In the interests of New Zealand, I hope the report is correct, but no such information has reached the Government. The position in regard to, shipping remains uractically as stated by the acting-Prime [Minister, at Christen urch last week.". l Mr Guthrie is making enquiries into the report regarding butter.
