TEACHERS' SICK LEAVE.
A SERIOUS INJUSTICE

D-UNEDUST, May 16.
The Otago Education, Board' has passed a motion that it is of opinion that the members of the teaching: profession .suffer an injustice owing to the disparity in the treatment they receive when on sick leave compared with othermembers of the Public Service, and that the -Government be urged to increase the grant for relieving teachers to such amount as will enable board? to extend as much consideration to teachers on sick leave as is given to members on Public service.
