•Transport No. 160 reached Auckland this morning .with 655 officers and men, 9 nurses and ,18 passengers. This is the largest draft to return'- for i>ome time. The" vessel made a remarkably fast trip. The men on the whole ' !»ok very well. There is a-percentage of maimed 'men,, ,biit practically no cot cases. The '"general health of the men improved greatly, on the voyage, which was a particularly happy one. The one stop afc an American port was made memorable by the most hospitality- of tho r citizens. : Anzac Day was ce'lebrated on the ship, on which there were no fewer than. 102 Gallipoli nen The draft, which . is commanded by Colonel Plugge, 'of Auckland,' contains many c decoi-ated'.men, ; including weaversof French and Serbian decollations.
