A SHOUT HARVEST. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) BERNE, May 14. The Munich Nachrichten states that enormous areas in the Ukraine, including thp expropriated estates of bis landowners, are untilled, and as a result of the coining harvest there will be insufficient 'grain' for the TJkranian population. Some towns are already suffering from hunger. REFUSAL TO CULTIVATE FOR THE GERMANS. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) ROME, May 14. The Popolo's Moscow correspondent reports that out of a million square kilometres of grain lands in the Ukraine only £O.OO have been cultivated _ this year, the peasants refusing to cultivate for the Germans.
