ANNUM, RACE MEETING
The Nelson "Jockey Club's annual rare meeting will be held this week at Richmond Park, commencing on Wednesday. The course is in capital order, and should the weather continue fine, the meitng promises to be a very successful one. The first event eacb day will start at 11.30 a.m. instead of noon as in previous years owing to there being no special railway timetable. The Mayor invites citizens to observe Wednesday as a holiday from 11 a.m. Arrangements have been made for the departure of the Pateena to bo postponed until 7 p.m. on Thursday next.
