The Minister of Defence, states that information has reached him that a returned soldier with a pension for . life had intimated that ha was going to sell the pension for £4OO. . The Minister states that under Section 19 of- the War Regulation Act, 1915, pensions are inalienable, and he adds that the law will be rigidly enforced.
