BROKEN HILL PROPRIETARY SHARES.
THE BOOM CONTINUED
(Press Association.—Copyright.)
SYDNEY, Feb. 28.
The boom in Broken Hill Proprietaryshares continued to-day, when they touched 78s, finishing at 775, on the strength of rumours that the steelworks will be run as a separate concern and that a company will be floated with a capital of over a million. Other rumours state that bonus shares will be issued to shareholders and that the capital will be increased. The secretary of the company declared that there'is not~"an atom of truth in the rumour that the steelworks will be run separately.
