"SAVE THE BABIES" WEEK
OCTOBER 28 TO NOVEMBER* 2, 1917 "Save the Babies Week" is a campaign .organised by .the Plunket Society with a twofold purpose:—(1) To give "Che mothers and fathers of the community an opportunity of learning the most important facts •witji regard to the care of the baby. . . . ' ' To faring 'home, to L the community* ■ a'' knowledge '• of' the facts regarding the needless. deaths' of its babies and- a. realisation of the ■ways, in which, it must iprptect . them. '/■'.- ' " " A Baby Week should be a community campaign: /each person in \the community should feel that he or she has a part ib it. Week rfiouH not be a temporary flurry and "but should lead to permanent- work for -the babies. You can help by attending one or more of the lectures or demonstration* 'which will be organised in the district Kyi listening to a Sunday Sermon j •by -visiting, a Mothercraft Exhibition if available; and generally by taking part in/ the locar arrangements for Babv Week. -
